I am a photojournalist striving to inform the public through visual communication that is universal, honest, unbiased, informative and timeless.

Working at Central Michigan Life as Assistant Photo Editor allowed me to communicate with the editorial staff, exceeding the standards and producing photos that reach beyond the headline story, implementing a truly powerful piece of work. I believe that working together and communicating with editors, writers and other parties involved helps to produce stories that follow the code of ethics required for credibility. 

I work extremely well under pressure, utilizing my time from the moment an assignment is received, respecting the importance of deadlines. I enjoy the fast past environment of a newsroom and am a dependable source for any story needing coverage at all times. I bring with me a high level of technical knowledge in digital photography as well as video and multimedia production required for proper editing and processing. I realize the purpose of a cutline is not to reiterate the image but to further inform and engage the public to the story behind the image. I apply my best in everything I do and utilize criticism in a positive way to better my work.
